Indications

The SuperFix TL Suture Anchor is a special type of suture anchor used in  sports medicine and during arthroscopic surgery. Suture anchors are small devices used to secure or anchor sutures in bone during surgical procedures. The SuperFix TL Suture Anchor is designed for soft tissue (e.g., tendons, ligaments, and meniscus) repair of the shoulder and other joints. It is frequently used in procedures such as rotator cuff repair, labral repair, and other ligament or tendon repairs.

The TL in SuperFix TL stands for "Double Loaded," indicating that this particular suture anchor has two sutures attached to it, allowing for a stronger, safer repair.

Anchors are inserted into the bone and additional sutures are used to anchor and stabilize the damaged soft tissue, promoting healing and stability. The SuperFix TL Suture Anchor is designed to provide secure fixation while minimizing the risk of damage to surrounding tissue. However, as with any surgical procedure or medical device, the use of the SuperFix TL Suture Anchor should be at the discretion of a trained healthcare professional based on the needs and condition of the individual patient.
