The unique design of soft extension improves the intraoperative operability.
The soft tabs avoid the intraoperative mutual interference in the operation.
The intraoperatively visible and touchable facilitates multilevel rod-passing. The whole passing process doesn't need the auxiliary positioning with X-ray.
Soft Extension VS Hard Extension
1. During the multilevel or lower lumbar cases, the hard tabs intersect each other and may break.
2. The muscular counterforce gets the hard tabs closer, which interferes intraoperative observation.
3. The hard tabs require high precision of instruments for rod passing and X-ray assist. These delay the time and increase damage to surgeons.
More Reliable Design
Unique locking from both lateral and medial integrates the soft tab and screw together firmly, avoiding the tab detaching during rod passing and pressing.
Soft tab and screw only connected laterally may detach during rod passing and pressing and delay operating time.
The screw cannot be close to anterior margin of the posterior column. The remained profile will make intraoperative tab breaking difficult and lead postoperative screw breaking.

Arcuate Rod Geometry
1. Decrease intraoperative rod bending and reduce breaking rate.
2. Unique design of rod holding for easy operation
The low profile better counters the anterior margin of the posterior column for reducing the risk of intraoperative screw breaking.

Provide posterior, noncervical fixation as an adjunct to fusion for the following indications: degenerative disc disease (defined as back pain of discogenic origin with degeneration of the disc confirmed by history and radiographic studies); spondylolisthesis; trauma (i.e., fracture or dislocation); spinal stenosis; curvatures (i.e., scoliosis, kyphosis and/or lordosis); tumor; pseudarthritis; and/or failed previous fusion.
