HIP REPLACEMENT Indications
Total Hip Arthroplasty (THA) is intended to provide increased patient mobility and reduce pain by replacing the damaged hip joint articulation in patients where there is evidence of sufficient sound bone to seat and support the components. Total hip replacement is indicated for a severely painful and/or disabled joint from osteoarthritis, traumatic arthritis, rheumatoid arthritis or congenital hip dysplasia; avascular necrosis of the femoral head; acute traumatic fracture of the femoral head or neck; failed previous hip surgery, and certain cases of ankylosis.
Below are the detail of ADC Acetabular Cup and Liner
Plasma microporous coating with Ti Grow technology provides better friction coefficient and bone ingrowth.
Proximal 500μm thickness 60% porosity Roughness: Rt 300-600μm
Classic design of three screw holes
Full radius dome design
Internal of ADC Acetabular Cup and Liner
One cup matches multiple liners of different friction interfaces
The double lock design of conical surface and slots enhances the liner stability.
Design of 12 plum blossom slots prevent liner rotation.
6 plum blossom tabs enhance rotational resistance.
20°elevation design increases the liner stability and reduce dislocation risk.
