2023 China Orthopedic Innovative Devices List

There are eight kinds of orthopedic innovative devices which registered at National Medical Product Administration (NMPA) till 20th. December,2023. They are listed as following in order of approval time.

These eight innovative devices reflect three major trends:

1. Personalization: With the development of additive manufacturing technology, orthopedic implants can be designed and manufactured according to the patient's specific conditions while improving the fit and comfort of the implant.

2. Biotechnology: With the updated iteration of biomaterial technology, orthopedic implants can simulate the biological properties of the human body better. It can improve the biocompatibility of the implant while reducing wear,tear,and the revision rate.

3. Intelligentization: Orthopedic surgical robots can assist to doctors more automatically in surgical planning, simulation and operation. It can improve the accuracy and efficiency of surgery while reducing surgical risks and postoperative complications.
